Does it hurt?

Permanent Makeup

Know Before You Go

The discomfort is relative as everyone has a different level of sensitivity. A numbing anaesthetic is applied after the first pass and during the procedure. Every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the duration of the procedure. In terms of Microblading and Microfusion, clients are usually pleased to discover that it is no more painful than tweezing or threading.

How long does Permanent Makeup last?

The pigment will fade over time and we recommend getting an Annual Touch-Up to keep it looking its best. There is no guarantee on how long it lasts as each individual has very different skin and lifestyles.

The frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including: skin type, pigment selection, lifestyle (sun exposure, smoking, acidic skincare products, etc.), iron deficiency (your body absorbs iron-oxide as a supplement), chemical peels, etc.

Please note that final results cannot be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your touch-up appointment and make any changes necessary.

How long is the healing process?

It is normal to experience minimal swelling and tenderness immediately following your procedure. This usually subsides within a few hours. The first week following your treatment, the pigment will appear much darker than how it will appear once it has healed. Around the 1st or 2nd-week post procedure, the skin naturally exfoliates and sheds. During weeks 4-8 when the skin completes healing, you will see the pigment become more visible. A touch up visit approximately 6 – 8 weeks after your first initial appointment is necessary in order to achieve that richness of color, achieve symmetry, and density in the shape.

  • Do not workout 24 hours before procedure
  • No alcohol, caffeine or stimulants 48 hours before procedure
  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure

Postcare Notes

  • Time-saver
  • Completely resistant to wear
  • Stress-free

Why You'll Love It

Heather Kaufhold

“I would recommend anyone that wants perfect brows to come here. I have been going on to Nikki for years now and then when I decided to do microfusion it was the best decision ever. I will continue to try new things and I can definitely say you will not be disappointed going here.”
